ไปไหน "bpai nǎi" where are you going?
literally means "go where".
ไปไหนมา "bpai nǎi maa" Where have you been?
literally means "go where come".
To answer these questions, see these examples:
ไปกินข้าว “bpai kin khâo” I’m going to eat.
ไปทำงาน “bpai taam ngaan” I’m going to work.
ไปเที่ยว “bpai thîao” I’m going out/ travelling around.
ไปวัด “bpai wát” I’m going to the temple.
ไปตลาด “bpai dtà-làat” I’m going to the market.
ไปสนามบิน “bpai sà-nǎam-bin” I’m going to the airport.

To play in Thai is เล่น 'lêen'. We put verbs before เล่น 'lêen' to show that an activity is being done
without serious purpose in mind. For examples :
พูดเล่น pûut lêen = to joke
กินเล่น kin lêen = eat for fun
อ่านเล่น àan lêen = to read for pleasure
เดินเล่น doen lêen = take a walk
วิ่งเล่น wîng lêen = to run
นั่งเล่น nâng lêen = sit down and relax
นอนเล่น nawn lêen = lie down and relax

Let's practice some easy Thai expressions using the pattern ไม่...เลย mâi...loei.
ไม่ mâi means "not," and เลย loei means "at all."
So, we can put an adjective or verb in the middle of the pattern to say "not...at all."
For example:
ชอบ châwp means “to like”
ไม่ชอบเลย
mâi châwp loei
I don’t like it at all.
แพง phaeng means “expensive”
ไม่แพงเลย
mâi phaeng loei
It’s not expensive at all.
สนุก sà-nùk means “fun/enjoyable”
ไม่สนุกเลย
mâi sà-nùk loei
It’s not fun at all.
